Financial Therapy Certificate Courses
Effective spring 2016, the financial therapy graduate certificate program will consist of 12 credit hours: PFP 768, PFP 769, PFP 770 and PFP 771. Students are not required to take the courses sequentially and may begin the program during the spring, summer, or fall semester.
Students who have earned either the CFP® designation, or the AFC designation, will not be required to take a Fundamentals of Financial Planning course as a prerequisite to complete this program.
Students who have not earned either of these designations must complete PFP 105* at Kansas State University or must have completed similar, verifiable coursework at a different institution within the last few years, prior to enrollment in the financial therapy program.
Please contact us for more details.
**All students will have the opportunity to enroll in PFP 909 as an additional elective to their program. PFP 909 will not take the place of any of the required financial therapy courses listed above.
