Jill Parker has 17 years of experience in academic advising and career counseling in higher education. After earning her graduate degrees, she spent 6 years as an advisor/career counselor, and then was promoted to Director of Career Services in Fort Wayne, IN at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. She later relocated to Fort Collins, CO, where she served as the Director of Advising, Career, and Retention Services at Front Range Community College-Larimer Campus for nearly 7 years. While Parker enjoyed her work as a director, she found she missed working directly with students. In August 2017, she became an academic advisor in Family Studies and Human Service at K-State, where she will advise students in Personal Financial Planning.
