There were 2 first year faculty awards:
The 2008 Merial Teaching Excellence Award for outstanding instruction
of first year students selected by the Class of 2011 is
Dr. Philine Wangemann.

The 2008 IVX (now TEVA) Teaching Excellence Award for outstanding instruction of first year students selected by the Class of 2011 is
Dr. David Renter.

One second year award:
The 2008 Bayer Animal Health Teaching Excellence Award for outstanding instruction of second year students selected by the Class of 2010 is
Dr. Derek Mosier.

One third year award:
The 2008 Novartis Teaching Excellence Award for outstanding instruction
of third year students selected by the Class of 2009 is
Dr. Meredyth Jones.

This awards ceremony is sponsored by the College Parallel Paths program
and our industry partners.

The Fort Dodge Animal Health Teaching Excellence Award for outstanding instruction of 4th year students was presented to
Dr. Matt Meisner
