Maddux, Ph.D., CFP®, provides Extension outreach educational programs and teaches Fundamentals of Financial Planning and Professional Practices in Personal Financial Planning in the Great Plains IDEA master’s degree program. Dr. Maddux also supervises the field study practicum for the master’s degree program and designs educational curriculum for the K-State Research and Extension Kansas Saves initiative. Her research focuses on enhancing perceived self-efficacy, or one's belief in his/her capabilities to reach financial potential. She previously worked as an advisor for a large financial services corporation and had an independent, fee-only financial planning practice.
